Designed to work with Credit
Unlike most traditional credit cards that charge monthly interest, allow you to make minimum payments, and carry a balance without a defined repayment due date, a pay-in-full card requires you to pay your statement balance on or before the statement's due date.
Shopify Credit is a pay-in-full business card that requires you to pay your monthly statement in full within 10 calendar months from the end of the statement period, for a fee. If you pay your full balance within the first month of your statement period, there are no fees.
Shopify Credit is available to eligible Shopify merchants. Log in to check your eligibility. Most merchants with an offer to apply for Shopify Credit will get a decision in minutes. Offers to apply are not a guarantee that your application will be approved.
If you started the application process for or currently have Shopify Capital funding, you are not eligible to apply for Shopify Credit at this time. If you have an existing Shopify Capital offer that is not yet accepted and you apply for Shopify Credit, your Capital offer will be regenerated depending on eligibility. Learn more about the requirements and application process for Shopify Credit.
Unlike many business credit cards that use credit scores to determine your credit limit, Shopify Credit bases your limit on your business performance and other factors.
If you’re not currently using Shopify Credit, check the Finance page in the Shopify admin to see if you’re eligible. For merchants already using Shopify Credit, we review your account every 6 months and may offer you a credit limit increase as your sales grow, if you're eligible. Offers are subject to change.
With Shopify Credit, you can make a manual payment at any time, but you are committed to the following auto-pay terms defined in your agreement:
Learn more about payment options.
There are no setup fees, annual fees, foreign transaction fees, card replacement fees, or fees for additional cards.
Remaining balance fee: There is a one-time fee applied to any account with a remaining balance after the first calendar month of your payment period. This fee signifies the transition to automatic payments from daily sales.
Monthly late fees: Failure to pay your full statement balance within 10 months will result in a 2% monthly late fee applied to past-due balances.
All fees are automatically debited from your linked bank account. Learn more about fees.
You may qualify for a refund or discounted fee after the one-time fee is applied for transitioning to ‘payments from daily sales’. Fee discounts are eligible for early repayment within the 10 month payment period. Any refunds are deposited back into your Credit account.
Check your Credit account in the Shopify admin at any time to see if you’re eligible for a fee discount.
